5. Your “man-card” requires it.
6. Hang nails can drive you crazy.
7. You always have something to play with.
8. You feel invincible.
9. It’s a much more professional way to compare yourself to other males, and yes…bigger is always better.
10. Chicks dig it.

If you’re a dude, and you don’t carry a blade, then hopefully these ten reasons are enough to convince you otherwise. The picture above happens to be my tool of choice for most occasions, however, I do have a different one for just about every situation feasible. Just remember, brand, style, and materials are not nearly as important as size, so go big or go home.

Blogging Into 2011

Though I’ve attempted to keep up a personal blog on several occasions, I never experienced much enjoyment or success until I began blogging over at the High Point Camp blog on a regular basis. After realizing some of the benefits of blogging and gaining a better understanding of the importance of having a presence online, this year I’ve resolved to keep up my personal blog more consistently. The specific benefits I’m referring to, as well as my reasoning behind this resolution will likely be the topic of future posts, since I have to save something for later. After all, finding material to blog about is half the battle.  Until then, Happy New Year.
